The CDT hosted it’s first ever Burns Night on 25 January. It was a sell out event! The Hall was dressed for a wonderful evening.
Guests were welcomed by 2 Pipers before being seated for a three course supper.
We were then entertained by Vlad McTavish and Viv Gee who flew in especially from Glasgow followed by enthusiastic dancing with the help of the terrific Ceilidh band, Bowreed, and their caller. We held a raffle during the evening to raise funds towards Cholsey Bonfire Night.
The evening was a huge success thanks to our wonderful volunteers, organisers and event sponsors (FFSSC, Rowse and Mr Sims Sweet Shop).
We hope Burns Night will become a mainstay in the Cholsey diary. See you next year!
