It is with regret that I write to notify you of the difficult decision the CDT Board reached last night, to close the Great Hall with immediate effect and until further notice, following the advice from the UK Government yesterday.
Due to the corona virus and the new social-distancing measures the UK Government has implemented, we have been forced to cancel the Children’s Fun Day on 7 April and May Day events on 8 May.
The Night Sky Show has been postponed until the Autumn and a date will be announced soon.
We wish to thank you for your understanding in these difficult times and we will be in touch with news of when the Hall will reopen as soon as possible. We feel this is an appropriate measure to keep our community safe.
