Meadows Morning Market Bounces Back!

The season opens with a “Foodies Extravaganza”

Meadows Morning Market is re-emerging from its winter break this coming Saturday, 25th March and promises to be a real extravaganza for ‘Foodie Shoppers’.  Many stallholders new to the Market will be displaying their wares amongst them with a host of enticing foodstuffs.

For example, Adrian of “Olives & Lemons” with their Greek Mediterranean cuisine are offering delicious Pitta breads, humous and the Greek dip Tzatziti as well as chicken breasts, chicken skewers with Haloumi cheese & roast potatoes.  Gluten Free and Vegan options available.

Another newbie is Swedish home bakery Alskar Fika, whose aim is to share the traditional Swedish pastries and baked goods with the people of Oxfordshire.  They believe that the best way to experience Swedish culture is through its food, which is why they use traditional recipes and techniques. On the menu for the day and freshly baked, is a range of wide range of buns (Cinnamon, Cardamom and Vanilla) as well as chocolate and gingerbread goodies.

Plus The Market will feature Persian delights (Saturday dinner at home?) as well as a wide range of bakery products. Not to be missed.

We look forward to welcoming all Residents of The Meadows to The Great Hall between 9am-1.00pm – it will be great fun!
