Volunteer Treasurer Opportunity

Cholsey Community Development Trust (CCDT) is a registered charity and limited company in South Oxfordshire. The vision for Cholsey CDT is to support the thriving and sustainable community at Cholsey. We do this by running events and activities at the Cholsey Great Hall (see www.cholseycdt.org.uk); working with other village groups to organise village-wide community activities, such as May Day and Bonfire Night; and we work in partnership with Cholsey Cricket Club, who manage the Cricket Pavilion, and run cricket and social events at Fair Mile, Cholsey.
Voluntary Treasurer
As a member of the Trust’s Board, you will help ensure the charity has the resources, funding and support needed to be the best charity it can be.
We would particularly welcome someone with a professional background in finance and financial management. You will support the Trust Administrator to manage the finances and ensure we maintain financial systems in order to retain full control of funds.
You will help the Board to set annual financial budgets and provide financial reports showing income and expenditure, attending board meetings as necessary.
You do not need to have previous experience in a charity to join us; we are looking for someone with good judgement, integrity, and who is open to new ideas.
